Patsy Swaim Arrington

Mrs. Patsy Jo Swaim Arrington, 81, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth Co. on December 19, 1935 the daughter of the late Lawrence Swaim, Sr. and Mary Frances ""Toots"" Spach Swaim. Mrs. Arrington was a member of Rural Hall Christian Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Patsy loved to cook, bake and took great pride in ""looking after"" all of her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Arrington, Sr. and a daughter, Penny Jo Arrington. She is survived by her two sons, James Wesley ""Wes"" Arrington, Jr. and Greg Arrington; three grandchildren, Justin Arrington (Jennifer), Krista Bowen (Chris) and Kayla Arrington; two great-grandchildren, Saylor Bowen and Sawyer Arrington; a brother, Lawrence Swaim, Jr.; a niece, Jennifer Swaim; her best friend and sister-in-law, Norma Blakeley and a special friend, Carol Arrington. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Rural Hall Christian Church with Wesley McCarter, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday, January 27, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Rural Hall Christian Church, P.O.
