Patsy Joyce Merrill Finney

Ms. Patsy Joyce Merrill Finney, 73, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born on July 12, 1940 in Forsyth Co. the daughter of the late Tony and Nellie East Merrill. Ms. Finney retired from Arbor Acres Retirement Home and was a member of Tru-Way Baptist Church in Westfield. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lewis and a brother, Larry Merrill. Ms. Finney is survived by two daughters, Terrie Keaton (David) of King and Sherry Fulk (Clayton) of King, a son, Ryan Finney of Walnut Cove, four grandchildren, Mikey Keaton, B.J. Fulk, Jessica Hawks and Natalie Grace Wall and three great-grandchildren, Rylan Hawks, Lauren Hawks and Weston Fulk. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Tru-Way Baptist Church in Westfield with Pastor Darrell Price officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 Monday, January 27, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
