Patsy Brooks Tuttle

Mrs. Patsy Brooks Tuttle, 77, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Transition Hospice in Raleigh. She was born June 4, 1937 in Wyoming County, WV to Wiley Benjamin and Cordie Ellen Shrewsbury Brooks. Mrs. Tuttle was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and the Faithful Followers Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Buddy Ray Tuttle. Surviving are one son, Joel Tuttle of Spruce Pine; one daughter, Judith Tuttle of Willow Spring; one grandson, Andrew Gerard; an adopted brother, Michael Brooks of AZ; and a sister, Johnnie Davis of Apex. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church Building Fund, 1175 Bethania-Rural Hall Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
