Patsy Wise

Ms. Patsy Lavonia Wise, 78, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. She was born September 22, 1939 in Hedley, TX the daughter of the late Donald Wise and Melba Stiles Wise. Ms. Wise worked for many years at Kmart in Mt. Airy and then as a home health care provider. She is survived by two daughters, Becky Marshall (Pete) of Dobson and Vicky Mitchell (Dale Swift) of Greensboro; a son, Ricky Mitchell (Michelle) of Pilot Mountain; three grandchildren, Jay Mitchell, Richard Marshall and Brandy Marion; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Aubree, Oliver and Hallie; and a brother, Larry Wise (Billie) of Tucson, AZ. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Little Mountain Baptist Church in Ararat, NC. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
