Patti Mabe

Ms. Patti Jo Lawson Mabe, 56, of Kernersville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.  Patti was born in Forsyth County on March 6, 1963, to James William Lawson and Patricia Shouse Lawson.  Patti was a graduate of Woodland Baptist Christian School.  She enjoyed spending time with her loving “fur baby” Tinker.  Patti was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Michael Lawson.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Jessica Mabe (Justin) and Tiffani Pepper (Preston); three grandchildren, Zoe Parsons, Zachariah Parsons, and Ethan Mabe; and one cousin, Teresa Krizmanich (Dennis).  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley McLeod and Mr. Randy Kiger officiating.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Ms. Mabe.
