Mrs. Pattie Dickerson Mabe, 88, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Universal Health Care in King. She was born on July 10, 1926 in Vance Co. the daughter of the late Riley Elbert Dickerson and Pattie Eula Chandler Dickerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Swanson Mabe. Mrs. Mabe is survived by a son, Ralph Wicker; a grandson, Ben Wicker (Amanda); two sisters, Maxine Call and Mary Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Person Memorial Park in Roxboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel)
