Patty Reed

Mrs. Patty T. Reed moved to her Heavenly home Friday afternoon. She was born to Louise and William Thomas in Forsyth County. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 64 years George M. Reed Jr. They made each other happy with a devoted love that lasted a lifetime. This past Valentines Day marked the seventieth anniversary of their first date. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her children, Ronald Reed and wife Tanya, Cindy Hall, Becky Schuckenbrock and husband Steve of Dallas Texas, and Robin Human and husband Jim. She left behind grandchildren Kevin Reed and wife Megan, Kipperly Miller and husband Nick, Jacob and Benjamin Hall, Adam, Katelyn, Brian, Laurel, and Meghan Schuckenbrock, Laura McKenna and husband William, Jamie, Thomas and
Anna Human and Jacob and Benjamin Hall. Many great grand children survive as well. Also surviving is her favorite nephew Phillip Thomas and wife Sandy. She served Fraternity Church of the Brethern for many years in many roles and loved her church family. She loved her Tarheels Basketball and was well known for her delicious Pecan Tarts. Her passion was making baby blankets with beautifully crocheted edges and giving them away. She was full of a loving heart and a giving spirit. A memorial service will be held at Fraternity Church of the Bretheren, 3760 Fraternity Church Road, WS, NC, 27127, Monday, March 12th at 7:00 PM with Pastor Paul Stutzman and Pastor Dave Kindy officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church.Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
