Paul Hester Cline

Kernersville - Paul Hester Cline, 84, passed away January 25, 2009. He was born on January 15, 1925, in Winston-Salem to the late Raliegh and Annie Ham Cline. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army. Paul was of the Baptist faith, and owned and operated Kernersville Amoco. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Hester; two half brothers, Raliegh, Jr. and Ross; and a half sister, Connie. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Hostetler Cline, of Kernersville; four sons, Tom Cline (Sharon) of Walnut Cove, Steve Cline (Annette) of Kernersville, Chuck Cline (Sue) of Kernersville, and Paul Cline, Jr. (Karen) of Walnut Cove; one daughter, Gloria Cline of Kernersville; grandchildren, Debbie Hall, Julie Anne Kirby, Kayla Cline, Gena Cox, Justin Garris; and great grandchildren, Taylor Kirby, Micah Hall, and Austin Hall. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 26, 2009, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel . A private graveside will be conducted at a later date.
