Paul Tiffin Drane, Jr.

Mr. Paul Tiffin Drane Junior, 80, of Advance, NC, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born on November 30, 1944, to the late Paul Tiffin Drane and Carrie Lee Loggins Drane. Tiffin, or “Tip,” as he was known to his friends and family, was a long time member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and retired from RJR Archer in 2000, with 36 years of service. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969 and was in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He was a member of the VFW Post 8719, Advance. When his children were younger, he was a little league baseball coach in Davie County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Drane Hayes. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Alice Faye Robbins Drane; a daughter, Leigh Anne Drane Davis; a son, Paul Tiffin Drane III (Wendy) of Harmony, NC; and his three grandchildren, Tyler Parke Davis, Ryan Todd Davis, and Bailey Fayth Drane, who were the apples of his eye. Tiffin is also survived by many friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 to 7:00 on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Clemmons First Baptist Church, with Reverend David Pace officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Military Honors. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
