Paul O'Connor

Paul O’Connor, 92, passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2026.

Paul was born on June 1, 1933, in Québec, Canada to the late Walter O’Connor and Georgiana Beauchesne. He was a dedicated mechanical engineer and was a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Paul was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and resilience. His quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Madeleine Austin; and his son-in-law, Rodney Walden.

Paul was a devoted family man whose quiet strength, love, and presence shaped generations. He is survived by his three children, Patrick O’Connor and wife Myong Hui; daughter, Christine Walden; and Kathleen Boyd and husband Darren. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Paul O’Connor (Heather) and Jason Walden (Mindy), Stephanie Gault (Derek), Kimberly Odendahl (Teddy), Brooke Nooe (Eric) and Brianna Clark (Winston); great-grandchildren, Brittany Montoya (Roger), Brooke and Bree O’Connor, Madison, Tristan and Cameron Gault, Liam, Wyatt, Theo and Izzy Odendahl and Emilia Nooe; and great-great-grandchildren, Sophia, Madeleine and Isabella.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A reception and time of visitation will immediately follow in the Robert F. Miller Center at Hayworth-Miller.
