Mr. Paul Burch Teague, 76 of Kernersville passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Center after battling lung cancer. He was born December 20, 1941 in Kernersville, NC. Burch worked in steel manufacturing as a Supervisor until his retirement. He was an avid and lifelong fan of the Carolina Tarheels and NASCAR and remembered for his love of making everyone laugh with his great sense of humor. Burch was hard working and always willing to help when needed. Gardening was a favorite hobby and his cat "Missy" held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blake Stafford Teague and Norman Otis Teague; brothers Garland, Grady, and Jim Teague; sister Sylvia Henderson; surviving brothers Ralph, Lowell and Tommy Teague of Kernersville and many special nieces and nephews.
Burch is survived by his two daughters, Sheila Hauger of Oak Ridge, NC and Shannon Watson (Will) of Murfreesboro, TN; one son Travis Teague (Dawn) of Danielsville, GA; two granddaughters, Lauren Donnalley (Ben) and Jade Weaver; one Grandson, Austin Teague (fiancée Chloe Wooten); two great granddaughters, Berkley Weaver and Ella Donnalley; two great grandsons, Blake and Jack Donnalley.
He shared a special 14-year friendship with Jewel "Pat" Cable of Lexington, NC.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-12 Noon, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 followed by the funeral service at 12 Noon at the Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel and burial at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville, NC.
