Mrs. Pauline Coleman Pegram, 94, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on November 17, 2016. She was born on December 24, 1921 to Odell Coleman and Eva Heath Coleman in Liberty. Pauline was a member of Reynolda Presbyterian Church since 1990, where she particularly enjoyed the Bible study class. She was a faithful volunteer at Baptist and Medical Park Hospitals for over 20 years; and assisted in the local elementary school's ESL program. She was a member of the Burlington Garden Club for 10 years. She and her late husband, Dewey, traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada as members of the Ramblers R.V. Club. Pauline lived in Boulder, CO for 24 years prior to returning to Winston-Salem. She loved the Rocky Mountains and her Weimaraner dogs. Pauline will be remembered for her sweet nature and gentle, servant's heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Pegram; twin sister, Kathleen Helsabeck, and younger sister, Doris Paynter. Survivors include sons, Larry Pegram (Lois Mumford) of Myrtle Beach, and David Pegram (Karen) of Arvada, CO; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a niece and a great niece. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Mon., Nov. 21, 2016 at Reynolda Presbyterian Church with Pastor Alan Wright officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Reynolda Presbyterian Church (Youth Program.)
