Pauline Rowland Worley

Pauline Rowland Worley, 95, of Kernersville, NC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born to the late Lester Elijah Rowland and Minnie Ora Compton Rowland on March 7, 1931, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.

Pauline was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In her early life she was raised on a farm and worked in the tobacco fields. After becoming a wife and mother, Pauline became a devoted homemaker. In 1963 she joined Pine Grove Methodist Church where she served as a faithful member for over the last 60 years. Pauline enjoyed flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was well liked by her community and cherished time spent with her neighbors and friends. Pauline will be remembered as the caring, selfless and loving woman that she was. She leaves behind many special memories that her loved ones will forever cherish.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin “Bill” C. Worley; daughter, Paula Fulp; and siblings, Gilmore Rowland, Calvin Rowland, Bill Rowland, Ora Petty, Elsie Adams, and Ollie Meadows.

She is survived by her beloved children, Diane Stafford, and Calvin C. Worley, Jr. (Lennis); grandchildren, Michelle Strickland, Bridget Willoughby (Jamie), Bryanna Baker (Adam), Emily Martin (Ryan), Bradley Fulp (Ashley), and Abigail Leonard (Cody); great-grandchildren, Cody Strickland (Hailey), Sawyer Martin, Tucker Martin, Garrett Willoughby, Carson Willoughby, Katie Willoughby, Hannah Baker, Emma Baker, River Baker, Angel Baker, Remi Baker, Georgia Baker, Beau Baker, Madelyn Fulp, Hunter Fulp, and Lane Leonard; great great-grandchildren, Aubrey Strickland, and Dawsyn Strickland; and sister, Beulah Crider.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Pine Grove Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:45pm before the service at the church. Officiating the service is Pastor Brad Bruce. Burial will follow the church service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
