Peggy Dunlap Burton

Mrs. Peggy D. Burton, passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2024. She was born on December 11, 1932. Mrs. Burton worked in the clothing industry, beginning her career when her children entered high school and ending when her husband fell ill. She was a loving mother and grandmother, spent her time caring for others.

Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Alburn H. Burton. She is survived by her two sons, Alburn L. Burton and Danny R. Burton; and four granddaughters, Misti Bennett, Ashley Williams (Delvin), Heather Fell, and Amanda Caperton (Chad). She also is survived by six great-grandchildren, Bryson Burton, Kolby Bennett, Savanna Richardson, Ashton Warren, Laylah Williams, Lochlan Fell.

A graveside service will be conducted at Forsyth Memorial Park on Friday, December 20th at 2:00 pm. The family wish to thank all the wonderful staff at Senior Services and Trellis for the excellent care they provided and the comfort they gave. Memorials may be made to Trellis in her memory.
