Mrs. Peggy Angel Teague Ingram, 97, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Trellis Hospice.

Peggy was born on September 1, 1928, in Forsyth County to the late John Wesley Angel and Linnie Smith Angel. She graduated from Sedge Garden High School and continued her education at Draughn Business College. Peggy dedicated 47 years of service to Graybar Electric before her retirement.

A devoted member of her community, Peggy volunteered more than 4,000 hours at Forsyth Medical Center and faithfully delivered Meals on Wheels. In her later months, she resided at Arbor Ridge in Kernersville. When her health allowed, she and her husband, Vernon, enjoyed traveling together on church bus trips and spending time working in their yard.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Teague; her brother, Bill Angel; and her sister, Betty Sain.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years, Vernon Ingram of Winston-Salem; her nephews, David Angel of Summerfield, Terry Sain of Holly Springs, and Randy Teague of Winston-Salem; her nieces, Teresa Ball and Annette Brinkley, both of Winston-Salem; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
