Peggy Jane Riddle

Ms. Peggy Jane Riddle, 91, passed away peacefully Sunday Afternoon with her daughter by her side, March 3, 2024. She was born on November 2, 1932, to the late Travis Riddle and Gertrude Riddle in Forsyth County, NC. 

Peggy was a lifelong member of Macedonia Moravian Church and has cared for her loving daughter Martha for many years during her battles with MS. She worked at AT&T/Lucent techniques for 30 years before retiring. Peggy’s hobbies were knitting, basket weaving, and watching sports, especially Carolina Tar Heels Basketball.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents Charlie (Rose) Riddle and John (Lydia) Spears, and brothers Larry and Wayne. She is survived by her daughter Martha; sister-in-law Mary Riddle; and many nieces and nephews. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Macedonia Moravian Church 700 NC-801, Advance, NC 27006. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Peggy is now with the Angels.
