Peggy Martin

Mrs. Peggy Ann Martin, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence. Peggy was born in Stokes County, NC to Raymond and Oberia (Bea) Martin. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church and worked for Piedmont Airlines as an Executive Secretary. Peggy loved her family, the beach and reading. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her loving husband of almost 60 years, Spencer David Martin (Ike); one son, Jeffrey D. Martin; one granddaughter, Brittany Martin; and one great-grandson, Zaire. Also surviving are one sister, Sharon Wiles (Michael); a cousin, Dawn Harris (Wayne), a sister-in-law, Shirley Williams; nephews and other loving family members. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jay Boyce officiating.
