Peggy Flynt Reavis

Peggy Jeanne Flynt Reavis, 91, passed away on December 31, 2025, at Homestead Hills Retirement Community. Peggy was born on January 29, 1934, to Charles Flynt and Lillian Hemrick Flynt in Forsyth County. Prior to moving to Homestead Hills, Peggy lived for many years on Granville Drive.
She enjoyed a successful career with the Chamber of Commerce where she retired as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President.
Peggy was a devoted member of Salem Baptist Church, serving faithfully for as long as her health permitted. She will be remembered for her warm smile and humble nature.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. (“Jack” or “Red”) Reavis. Surviving are her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Floyd Boles officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church.
