Peggy Scales

Mrs. Peggy Elizabeth Overstreet Scales, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Trellis Support Care. She was born to the late Lawrence and Bertha Overstreet on June 26, 1935. Peggy was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Buds Security with 15 years of loyal service. Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scales; son, Rocky Spicer and sister, Louise Wilson. She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Spicer of Winston-Salem; Gail Faw Bentley and husband Larry of Furguson NC; Tamy Marsh Burr of Jacksonville Fl.; son, Roger Dale Sechrist and wife Becky of Cana, VA; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great, great grandson; a special friend Woody Mabe. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
