Peggy Elizabeth Sizemore

Peggy Elizabeth White Sizemore, 79, of Clemmons NC, died suddenly, Monday, May 18, 2015 while vacationing in Gatlinburg, TN. She was born March 1, 1936, in Forsyth County, to the late Connie Lee White and Cora Elizabeth Beeson White. She was a 1955 graduate of Griffith High School and a Retiree of Meadowbrook Manor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Roscoe White, and her youngest son, Mark Anthony Sizemore. Surviving to cherish her memory are, her husband of 58 years, Bobby W. Sizemore; son, Bill Sizemore; daughter-in-law, Mary Sizemore; grandchildren Ashley and husband Ryan Rogers, Christopher Sizemore and Nicholas Sizemore; a precious great granddaughter Kate Rogers; brothers Hugh A. White and wife Vickie, and John A. White and wife Linda; and a very special friend, Peggy Williams. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who found the greatest joys of life in spending time with her family and serving her Church and community. She was a long time member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Winston-Salem, and a member of the Searchers Class. She served, at various times, many positions in the Church including the bereavement committee, the Pumpkin Patch Committee, a member of the administrative committee, and was a past president of the United Methodist Women, and chairperson of the Before and After School. A funeral service for Mrs. Sizemore will be at 2:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2015 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, with Rev. Robin Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
