Penny Carol Waddell Grose

Penny Carol Waddell Grose, age 64, a resident of Lewisville, NC, passed away April 17, 2015 with the care of Hospice. Penny was born August 30, 1950 in McDowell County WV to Thomas Theodore Waddell and Ethel Francis Waddell. Penny wed her High School Sweetheart, Hobart Grose July 5, 1968. Penny is survived by her spouse, Hobart Grose; son, Hobart Scott Grose and his wife, Wendy Grose; daughter, Bobbie Grose Tate; grandchildren, Austin Grose, Jessica Grose, Jacob Tate, John Henry Tate, Cody Popecki and Meghan Popecki; brother, John Henry Waddell and his wife, Linda Waddell; and many beloved brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins. Penny was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters-in-law. Penny will have a graveside service Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Grose-Tiller Family Cemetery in Raysal West Virginia. In lieu of floral arrangements Penny requested memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
