Mrs. Perry Mae Disher Hartley, 87, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was born August 2, 1930 in Davidson County to the late Walt Lee Disher and Addie Sowers Disher. Mrs. Hartley was a lifelong active member of Arcadia United Methodist Church. She retired from AT&T with 38 years of service. Mrs. Hartley loved being outside, basketball, especially her Demon Deacons, but most importantly, she loved her family. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, John Clayton Hartley, and three brothers, Lee Disher, Grady Disher, and Clyde Disher. Surving are two sons, Clayton Hartley (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA and Jeff Hartley (Emily Hedrick) of Arcadia, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 15, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, officiated by Pastor Eddie Evans. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Hartley at your convenience.
