GORDON East Bend - Mr. Phillip Woodrow Gordon, 54, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston-Salem. He was born in Forsyth County on November 5, 1955 to the late Woodrow Scales Gordon and Ruby Jane Caudle Gordon. Phillip's favorite TV show was the Three Stooges. Mr. Gordon, affectionately known as the ""Milkman,"" was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by one brother. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Wynn Potts Gordon; two daughters, Lesley Jane Gordon and Michelle Gordon Harrison and husband, Patrick; and two special granddogs, Chiquita and Batman. A Graveside Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Pastor John T. Byerly and Pastor Bob Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, Wednesday, June 9 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
