Mrs. Phyllis Ann Henson, 66, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Henson was born on August 12, 1958, in Forsyth County to the late Mr. Harrison C. Whiteheart and Mrs. Margaret Furchess Whiteheart.
Phyllis graduated from Reynolds High School and went on to become a travel agent in January 1989, where she served many roles but retired as a Corporate Travel Manager. She loved to trout fish, play golf, and travel to Cherokee and hit the casinos!
She loved people deeply, her smile was always bright, and she welcomed everyone. Her presence will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Kenneth Whiteheart (Judy); two sisters-in-law, Sandra Parker and Susan Whiteheart; and three nephews, Jason Henson, Jonathan Whiteheart, and DJ Sloan.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 47 years, Timothy “Tim” Henson; brother-in-law, Keith Sloan (Beth); sister-in-law, Jack Henson (Donna); a brother, David Whiteheart; and 4 nieces and 7 nephews.
Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Henson, there will be no formal services held.
