Scrapbooking and cataloging her many pictures were also a favorite hobby, as she took many pictures at all the family and friend gatherings over the years. Being a wife, mother, grandmother, and Great-Grandmother was her greatest joy and pride, affectionately being called grandma and GG. She was a member of the Battle of Shallow Ford of the Daughters of The American Revolution, as well as The Daughters of The Union Army, and was an auxiliary member of the Winston-Salem chapter of Gideons international.
