Phyllis Harrill Neal

Kernersville – Phyllis Harrill Neal, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home. She was born in Forsyth County on January 22, 1942, to the late Abraham Gabriel and Katherine Moffitt Harrill. Phyllis was always known to be a dedicated hard worker. She first worked at Western Southern Insurance for 44 years and then went on to work for her nephew at his car lot, Road House Auto, for another 6 years. Phyllis always cared for others before herself and was the caretaker for everyone in her family. She was a wonderful friend to so many and will surely be missed.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Maynard Neal; second husband, Clay Yuenger; one brother, Richard Harrill; one sister, Lavanda (Joe) Holder; one nephew, Richard Holder; and one niece, Melinda Calcutt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her friends, Tina (Jamie) Hall, and Robin (Roger) Williams.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.
