Phyllis Ann Posey Walker

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Posey Walker, 93, passed away on March 21, 2024, in Charlotte, NC. She was born on August 24, 1930, in Forsyth County to the late George and Stella Posey. Phyllis was a charter member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church for many years. She loved flowers and enjoyed traveling with her husband. They visited every state except Hawaii. Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert “Bob” Walker; one sister, Della Madge Craver; and two brothers, George Lee Posey and Larry Wayne Posey. Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Beverly Smith (Tim) and their children, Blake Smith and Amanda Smith - and Debra Anoff (Don) and their children, Samuel Anoff, Leah Anoff, and Noah Anoff; one sister, Linda Strickland (Jim); one brother, Grady Posey (Delilah); and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday March 24, 2024, at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Emily Schlaman Larsen officiating.
