Pricilla Sue Gordy

Mrs. Pricilla Sue Manuel Gordy, 68, passed away January 15, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1949 in Guilford County. Sue was a strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother while battling cancer for over 25 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Elizabeth Manuel. Sue is survived by her loving husband, Larry William Gordy Sr. of 47 years; one son, Pete Gordy (Paula); one daughter, Tracie McGee (Jimmy); four grandchildren, Brandon Gordy, Kristen Gordy, Jacob McGee (Brittany), Zachary McGee; two great-grandchildren, Makayla and Hailey McGee. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Rural Hall with Chris Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Red Bank Baptist Church in Germanton, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. The family would like to give special thanks to the professionals of the Baptist Hospital ER for the care given to their mother.
