Prudence Mcginnis

Mrs. Prudence Huneycutt McGinnis, 90, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Greensboro passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Winston-Salem Nursing and Rehab.  She was born May 17, 1928 in Stanley County, the daughter of the late George Alexander and Esther Kimrey Huneycutt.  Mrs. McGinnis was a member of Magnolia Street Baptist Church and was retired from Piedmont Financial Co.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Stetler.  Survivors include one daughter, Julie C. Clark (Paul) of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Jason Clark of San Francisco, CA and Carmon Schietzelt of Durham; one great grandchild, Arthur Schietzelt of Durham; one sister, Barbara Alexander of Charlotte; three brothers, Sherman Huneycutt (Betsy) and Gary Huneycutt (Becky) of Charlotte and C. J. Huneycutt (Beverly) of Silver springs, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Westminster Gardens.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek in Winston-Salem is serving the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
