Raeburn "Ray" Overman
Oak Ridge - Mr. Raeburn ""Ray"" Overman, 73, died Friday, March 4, 2016. Ray was born September 13, 1942 in Durham, NC to Edna Andrews Overman. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Karen Barrow Overman; and a brother, Ernest Odell Overman. Surviving are his daughter, Leah O. Craven (husband, James); two grandchildren, Sullivan Ray and Samuel Gideon Craven; two step-grandchildren, Andrew Michael and Kaleigh Lorraine Craven; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
