Ralph Edward Biggs

Oak Ridge – Ralph Edward Biggs, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 24, 1943, in Guilford County to the late Albert and Lilly Holt Biggs. Ralph was hard-working, mild-mannered man. He was such a caring person and always putting other’s needs above his own. Ralph was strong in his faith and loved his family with all his heart. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Jeffery Todd Biggs; and two siblings, Bobby Biggs and Peggy Powers. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Joyce D. Biggs of 62 years, two children, Brad Biggs (Angie), Kristi Gallimore (Billy); five grandchildren, Will Biggs, Ryley Nail, Garrett Nail, Luke Gallimore, and Abbie Gallimore; and two siblings, Barbara James, and Danny Biggs.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Oak Ridge. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening, August 26, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church in his honor at 5424 Union Grove Road Oak Ridge, NC 27310.
