Ralph Ellington Johnson

GREENSBORO -- Mr. Ralph Ellington Johnson, 92, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Bradford Village West Nursing Home. Ralph was born on July 5, 1921 in Alamance County to the late Dolph Moore and Lilly Mae Moore Johnson. Ralph was a US Navy WWII veteran. He was the owner and operator of Bessemer Coal in Greensboro for many years. Ralph enjoyed patronizing the TV Grill in Greensboro. Ralph is survived by two nephews, Jennings 'Jay' Johnson, wife Stephanie and Dale Johnson, wife Carol; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
