Ralph E. Lee went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Ralph was born May 18, 1949, in Dexter, Maine, to Clyde and Velma Lee. He attended Dexter and East Millinocket schools and worked for Eastern Maine General Hospital before moving to NC where he attended Forsyth Technical Community College to continue his career as a respiratory therapist. He was employed at Baptist Hospital from which he retired. He later worked as a respiratory therapist for homebound patients.
Ralph attended Parkway Chapel in Winston-Salem. He was an avid sports fan, particularly basketball on all levels.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Velma Lee. Surviving are his sister, Nancy Richardson (Clark) of Pittsboro, NC and his brother, Mark Lee (Shirley) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by a nephew, David Richardson (Anne) of Indialantic, FL; and nieces, Andra Petersen (Tim) of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, Krista Tester (Brook) of Pleasant Garden, NC and Rebecca Vaughan (Chris) of Greenville, SC. He has seven great-nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Steven Harrell for being a great mentor and for this friendship, love and care over the past years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Millinocket, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Top Youth Camp or Parkway Bible Assembly.
