Ralph S.. Patterson

Mr. Ralph S. Patterson passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Deland, FL on September 25, 1926 and resided in Winston-Salem since 1950. He graduated from John B. Stetson University in 1950, and served in the Air Force branch of the military. He retired from Lucent Technologies (previously Western Electric) in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn H. Patterson of 64 years. He also had a dear and devoted friend, Gwen Whitaker of 15 years. At the time of his death he was a resident of Heritage Woods Retirement Community. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is handling the arrangements and he will be interred in Salem Cemetery. Memorial Services will be held at Heritage Woods at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or a charity of choice.
