Ralph Vestal, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Edward Vestal, Jr. of Kernersville passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Vestal was born in Forsyth County to Ralph Edward Vestal and Lila Catherine Gorsuch Vestal on December 25, 1948. Ralph served his country in The United States Army in the Vietnam War from 1969 to1972 before retiring from Automotive Fasteners. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, mother, aunt, and especially his grandchildren and extended family Karen, Amy and Darrick. Hobbies he enjoyed were hunting and four-wheeling with his friend Rocky and talking about tractors with his friend Rick. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edward Vestal Sr. He is survived by his mother, Lila Catherine Vestal; daughter, Catherine Vestal Coe and husband James; grandchildren, Annabelle; Elizabeth and Christian Coe. A celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Doug Klein officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 4433 Bashavia Drive, Pfafftown, NC 27040.
