Ramona Gale Quesenberry McGowen

Mrs. Ramona Gale Quesenberry McGowen, 85, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Village Care of King. She was born December 12, 1937, in Kanawha County, WV to the late Ronald B. Quesenberry and Iona Lee Snead Quesenberry. Ramona was born in her parent’s home located in a coal camp in Mammoth, WV. She retired from Sara Lee after 20 years of service. Ramona was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Sherri Beth McGowen. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David Hugh McGowen of the home; two daughters, Maralee McGowen of Port Charlotte, FL and Lisa Duquette (Allen) of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, David Duquette of Johnson City, TN and Alaina Duquette of Philadelphia, PA. A memorial service will be held at a later date in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
