Mr. Randy Wayne Proctor, 65, a resident of Kernersville, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point. He was born in Forsyth County on April 11, 1961, to the late Robert Proctor and Deanna Shoaf.

Randy worked as an electrician for many years and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. He also enjoyed working at Bowman Gray Stadium during race season. In his free time, Randy loved hunting, watching NASCAR, and tinkering with just about anything that needed fixing. Above all, he loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Brown" Proctor, and his beloved canine companion, Maggie.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Robin Lucas (Doug); sister-in-law Kathy Proctor; his nieces, Andria Auman (Wesley), Michelle Bogue (Russ), Amanda Proctor (Quentin Turner) and Meghan Proctor (Aca); his great nieces Faith Reed (Jake) and Gracie Bogue; great-nephews, Caden and Cole Auman; his great-great-niece Emersyn Reed; and his special friends, Tim Abel, Jeanette Newman, and Wayne Norman.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in the Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. There will be no formal visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
