Randy Shelton

Randy Shelton, 53, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home. He was born February 8, 1959 in Forsyth County to Cletus and Norma Woosley Shelton. Randy was a 1977 graduate of West Forsyth High School, a 1979 graduate of Forsyth Tech and was employed with AT&T for 17 years. He was a member of the Fraternity Church of the Brethren and former Pastor at New Haven Church of the Brethren in Sparta, N.C. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Marie Shelton and by a son, Phillip Randall Shelton. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Tina Berrier Shelton; a daughter, Brandy Shelton; his parents of Winston-Salem; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Fraternity Church of the Brethren with Rev. Dave Kindy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
