Mr. Raymond Couch, Jr., 79, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born December 31, 1939 in Butler County, OH, to the late Raymond Couch, Sr. and Edith Bowling Couch. Mr. Couch was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church since the early 90s. He was retired from General Motors with many years of loyal service, and then worked for Lowe’s Hardware until March of last year, due to failing health. Mr. Couch enjoyed bowling and especially archery.
Preceding him in death are his parents, a brother, Paul Couch, and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Davidson Snow. Surviving are five daughters: Tina Baughman and husband Steve, Brenda Couch of Science Hill, KY, Ann Taylor of New Castle, IN, Dee Johnston of Madison, IN, and Sheila Harrison of Madison, IN; a son, Terry Couch and wife Jo Ellen of Spiceland, IN; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Francis Couch and Richard Couch both of Anderson, IN.
A graveside service will be conducted in his honor 11:00 AM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Roberson.
