Raymond Randy Lawson

Raymond Randy Lawson, 65, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at his home in Kernersville.

He was a loyal, loving husband, father, and grandfather, dedicating his life to providing, caring, and attending to his family. Such dedication was evidenced in every aspect of his life including his career, having worked for the same company for 43 years, and retiring only a few months prior to his passing. Randy was one of the most selfless, considerate, gentle, and kind persons you could ever have the pleasure of meeting, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pete and Ethel Lawson, his parents, Roy Lee and Cleo Ramey Lawson, and several relatives. Randy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ava Lawson; his two children, Brian Lawson and Shantae Maxey; four grandchildren, Kayla Maxey of Kernersville, Kasia and Kaili Lawson, and Keri Chang of Atlanta, GA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
