Rebecca Wall Atkinson

LEXINGTON, NC--Mrs. Rebecca Wall Atkinson, 71, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014. She was born May 25, 1943 to Hadley James and Dorothy Sowers Wall. Mrs. Atkinson was a long time and faithful member of Glory Road Baptist Church. She was employed with Integon Insurance for 23 years, and retired from Jefferson Pilot Insurance. Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Barbara Cranfill. She is survived by her husband Steve Atkinson; 2 sisters Gwen Widener, and Judy Jones; 2 Nieces, and 4 nephews; 2 great-nieces; and 5 great-nephews; and her loving dog Ajax . A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Charles Whitaker officiating.
