Rebecca 'Becky' Long Day

Mrs. Rebecca ""Becky"" Long Day passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1947 in Forsyth County to Edna Allen and Frank P. Long, Sr. Mrs. Day was a member of Grace Baptist Temple. She loved her Lord, her church, her family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is her husband of 33 years, Burley Day, Jr.; two brothers, Larry Clinton Long and wife Nancy and their children, and Frank P. Long, Jr. and wife Ann and their children. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ed Sears officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Temple, 3305 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
