Rebecca Louise Shadrick

Mrs. Rebecca Louise Shadrick, 62, of King passed away September 20, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Wilkes County to Tommy Talmage Henderson and Sallie Lou Pendegrass Henderson. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Shadrick was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and was Charity Coordinator with Walmart for the Children's Miracle Network. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Shadrick; her mother, Sallie Lou Henderson; two daughters, Diane Garity and Kimberly Mabe; two sons, George Michael Shadrick and Levi Daniel Shadrick; granddaughters, Sabrina Layne Garity, Victoria Lynn Kimbal, Morgan Marie Shadrick, Chaynoa Marie Shadrick, and Gracie Shadrick; grandsons, Christopher Michael Kimbal, Aaron Joel Shadrick, and Roman Shadrick; two sisters, Mildred Johnson, and Barbara Darnell and husband Jim; A brother, Gene Henderson and wife Elevne. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:30pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Sweet Home Baptist Church, 7173 Somers Rd., Union Grove, NC 28689 with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 2:00pm prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem.
