Rebecca "Becky" Brewer Woodard

Mrs. Rebecca ""Becky"" Brewer Woodard, 78, of Pulaski, VA and formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Forsyth County on January 5, 1939 to Fred Madison Brewer, Jr. and Mary Alice James Brewer. Mrs. Woodard was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church for many years. She loved music, people, traveling, and flower gardening. She volunteered at Baptist Hospital in her earlier years and enjoyed playing the piano and organ for children's services at various churches. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred Madison Brewer, III. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Woodard, of the home; two sons, Keith Elliott Woodard and wife Linda Leigh, Lee Allen Woodard and wife Angie. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Davis officiating.
