Mrs. Regina Neidert Bowles, 64, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on July 9, 1961, in Fredericksburg, Virginia to Patricia “Pat” Flaherty Neidert and the late Raymond Neidert. Regina graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1982 as one of three female Mechanical Engineers in her class. She worked as a mechanical engineer at RJ Reynolds for 25 years, then retired after working at Hood Containers as a Quality Inspector for 11 years. Regina enjoyed her place on Belews Lake, where she and her family spent many weekends. She loved travelling, especially to the Smoky Mountains and Dollywood. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kerry Neidert, and her sister-in-law, Debbie Comer (Tommy). In addition to her mother, Regina is survived by her husband, Randy Lee Bowles, her daughter, Jacquelyn Bowles, her son, Jeremy Bowles (Kelsey), her brother, Kevin Neidert (Evon), and her sister, Allison Cranney (Steve). A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall. The family will receive friends at the home of Regina and Randy following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Brenner’s Children's Hospital in Regina’s name.
