Rena Nelson

Ms. Rena Michelle Nelson, 35, passed away January 28, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1984 in Forsyth County to Ricky Dean Nelson and Rachel Wood Crews.

Surviving are, her seven-year-old son, Zayden Atkins, her mother, Rachel (Jerry); her father, Ricky Nelson; one sister, Rebecca Nelson; a nephew, Kolby Nelson, and her special aunt, LuLu.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Jeff Calhoun and Pastor Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday evening, February 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
