Rhonda Gordon

Mrs. Rhonda Annette Marion Gordon, age 64, passed away January 23, 2020.  She was born March 29, 1955 in Forsyth County to Warren Franklin Marion and Magaline Elsie Lynch Marion.  Rhonda worked as a nurse for 13 years, at which time became a homemaker.  She was a member of King Moravian Church and served on The Circle of Help with the church.  In addition, Rhonda was a member of the Pilot Mountain Women’s Club and assisted with the Red Cross bloodmobiles throughout the community.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her father, Warren F. Marion.  She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Gordon; mother, Magaline Lynch Hiatt; daughter, Brett Gordon; stepfather, Bobby Lee Hiatt; and three brothers, David F. Marion, Ritchie D. Marion, Chris and Gayle Marion .  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at King Moravian Church with Rev. Doug Rights and Rev. Jimmy Newsome officiating.  Interment will follow at God’s Acre King Moravian Church.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM, at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King Moravian Church Circle of Help, 228 W. Dalton Street, King, NC 27021.
