Richard Boone

Richard Jackson Boone, 65, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mr. Boone was born October 8, 1959, in Forsyth County, to Roachel Jackson Boone and Virginia Branscome Boone. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Little Boone; his son, Tyler Boone (Shelby); his daughter, Paige Bauer (Austin); one grandson, Noah Boone; two sisters, Sherry Medlin (Donnie), and LouAnne Price (Doug); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Lomax Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
