Richard Douglas Bunch Sr.

Mr. Richard Douglas Bunch Sr. passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1936 in San Francisco, CA to the late Raymond Adrian Bunch and Edith Lena Reaves Bunch. Mr. Bunch proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Delta Airlines with 25 years of service.

Mr. Bunch is survived by his loving wife: Lyn Bunch; daughter: Deanna Leonard and husband, Barry; son, Richard Bunch Jr. and wife, Traci; two grandchildren: Cory Jarrett Leonard and Zachary Richard Bunch; brother, William Bunch; and numerous nieces and a nephew.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
