Richard Louis Faker

Richard Louis Faker, 70, of Advance, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his home. He was born June 3, 1946 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Cornelius and Jessie Moore Faker. He served his country in the Vietnam War earning two Bronze Service Stars. He married the love of his life, Charlotte, Cwidak on January 27, 1973 who survives him, along with a sister, Carol Weaver of Granger Indiana and his beloved little boy dog ½ Pint. He also leaves behind two nieces and one nephew. Mr. Faker enjoyed boating with his South Carolina friends at Lake Hartwell, gardening and cheering on the Fighting Irish. A funeral visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. at Bubb Funeral Chapel in Mishawaka on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
